Dear ICANHELP Community,
I am writing today to share that I have accepted the role of Sr. Product Marketing Manager — Trust & Safety at TikTok USA. For those of you who don’t know, TikTok is a video-sharing social networking platform that has been downloaded over 1.5 billion times and has 60 million daily active users in America, 60% of which are 16-24. At TikTok, I will focus on language, product development, and promotion of new safety features and campaigns.
It is bittersweet to leave my official position as Executive Director at #ICANHELP, however, I see this move as a step forward for #ICANHELP and our efforts to increase the importance of and awareness to digital wellness and digital citizenship across the country. TikTok is exploding in popularity and playing a significant role in the digital lives of teens. Ensuring a safe place to create content, helping them proactively guide users to positive outcomes, and empower students to positively shape their online communities was an opportunity worth pursuing, and I’m excited to go on this new journey.
I will forever be an #ICANHELP Co-Founder and will remain on the organization’s board, supporting #ICANHELP’s mission. #ICANHELP recently hired a new treasurer and will continue to make valuable additions to the team as needed. I’m very excited about the work we’ve done, the amazing interns, our growth as a nonprofit, and the collaboration between my co-founder Kim and I. #ICANHELP is in good hands going forward.

Marketing videos and campaigns to promote #ICANHELP’S work
Training over 450,000 students in the US on digital citizenship and digital wellness
Building and developing a vast network of companies and organizations with mission-aligned work
Launching a new website
Developing a partnership with Well Being Trust to develop digital wellbeing curriculum
Increasing annual donations for #Digital4good by over 2,000% in 3 years
Gaining international attention with HundrED in Finland
Developing a national campaign with Aaron Judge, Sharpie, and The Players’ Tribune
Running a billboard in Times Square for Giving Tuesday
#ICANHELP is committed to giving youth a voice and empowering them to make a very real and positive impact on their lives and their peers. We’ve seen this happen at our #Digital4Good event over the past three years. #ICANHELP is excited about the upcoming digital wellness curriculum launch, and growing partnerships with Well Being Trust, Participate, and others. Stay tuned for updates on this year’s #Digital4Good event, which will celebrate young people making an impact online and in their communities.
