Yi Liu is an educator and curriculum designer passionate about helping people build healthy digital habits, both in the classroom and beyond it. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Education at Northwestern University, Yi holds First Class Honors from the University of Hong Kong and is completing her Illinois Professional Educator License with an ESL and Bilingual Education endorsement.
Yi is passionate about leadership, emerging technology, and creating positive change. She has designed and delivered project-based Language & Literature units for thousands of IB Middle Years and Diploma students, and built 100+ customized lesson plans across AP, IGCSE, A-Levels, and HKDSE curricula.
Beyond the classroom, Yi co-founded ITI Informatics Academy, reaching over 20k students annually through free programming courses, and creates STEM education content that has drawn 1.5 million views across social platforms. As a curriculum developer at Digital4Good x #ICANHELP, she now brings the same student-centered, community-driven approach to helping schools build healthier digital habits, one lesson, one family, and one story session at a time.
