Girls Leading the Future of Cybersecurity

Zeynep Kaya is a high school student from Turkey with a passion for both cybersecurity and gender equality in technology. After recognizing the lack of representation and resources for girls in this field, she founded Cyber Valkyries to create opportunities for young women to step into leadership roles in the digital world.

Under her guidance, the initiative has already reached more than 1,000 girls through mentorship, workshops, and awareness campaigns.

Cyber Valkyries is a student-led movement dedicated to closing the gender gap in cybersecurity. With a team of 35 volunteers, the initiative builds inclusive communities where girls can gain knowledge, confidence, and leadership experience. From interactive workshops to online resources, the project equips students with the tools they need to navigate the digital age safely and boldly.

Through its network of youth ambassadors, Cyber Valkyries extends its impact beyond local schools, inspiring girls across regions to see themselves as future leaders in tech. By preparing the next generation of female changemakers, the initiative is not only teaching digital skills but also reshaping what leadership in technology looks like.
