Introducing the #ICANHELP Content Creation Team 2020-2021

our updates Nov 10, 2020

Content Creation Team’s Goals

We are excited to start writing blogs for many students around the world. With topics ranging from self-help to time management skills, our team strives to bring upon the most relatable and engaging content for everyone. We will be making IG lives and IGTV videos that will address the many topics that students are most impacted by. Starting today, we are tasked with putting out the best blog posts ever and taking part in #ICANHELP’s mission of teaching digital citizenship, spreading online positivity, building stronger school communities, and promoting mental health awareness and well-being.

As the Content Creation team, we feel that the topics and issues that matter most to you are always worth discussing online. We are a part of a movement that builds awareness on social issues and digital citizenship.

What is Digital Citizenship?

Digital Citizenship refers to one being responsible and spreading positivity online. How we connect online ranges from our phones to our desktops. Being a Digital Citizen not only proves you're taking part in not allowing negativity to thrive, but you are also taking part in an invasive stand up against discrimination, hate, and harassment online. As a Digital Citizen, you are part of the solution in becoming a more informed person and standing up for what is right. Being a Digital Citizen allows you to be a light in the darkest of tunnels of thousands of people and being a fierce advocate for the #Digital4Good initiative.

What is #ICANHELP

#ICANHELP’s mission is to bring about awareness about the importance of being socially responsible and to bring about positivity on social media. The Content Creation team does just that and engages all to contribute to a single cause and take part in such an amazing initiative. Our mission-driven team is dedicated to brainstorming and hearing suggestions in what YOU most want to learn and read about.

#ICANHELP has even partnered with many tech companies including Instagram, Facebook, Google, and Twitter. #ICANHELP maintains its goals of spreading positivity and advocating for social citizenship. Social citizenship meaning being one to stick out towards negativity, hate, or discrimination from others. #ICANHELP has, for years, been in the movement of social responsibility and raising awareness about being responsible on social media.

We Want You to Get Involved!

Brainstorming and Planning:

At #ICANHELP, we are tasked to write a blog that empowers students to be responsible and share positivity online. When planning any of our blogs, we look at the most relevant topics on social media so we can reflect the issues that matter most to you. If you have any ideas or requests for topics, join Minga or send Jordan an email at [email protected]!

Writing:

#ICANHELP volunteers can submit their own blog posts for review! If approved, you can get your own writing submitted on the website. Join Minga or email Jordan at [email protected] for more details!
