About Tiffany
Tiffany Tu is a rising senior from the Chicago area suburbs, driven by a passion for addressing healthcare inequities. Her volunteer work at non-profit clinics in underserved neighborhoods and her role on a youth council advocating for women's health have fueled her belief in technology's power to create change.
Tiffany aspires to advance healthcare through cancer genomics research, having pursued independent projects and collaborated with professors on antibiotic resistance and cancer diagnostics.
Project Overview
MedAboutU is a nonprofit organization founded by Tiffany Tu, dedicated to spreading health information to teens across racial and socioeconomic barriers. Through an online platform offering accessible articles and infographics, MedAboutU has impacted over 9,000 teens, providing essential health education regardless of access.
The organization aims to make learning about the body and prevalent conditions easy and accessible for everyone.
