About Ishitha
Ishitha Arekapudi's journey in aviation began at 14, fueled by a passion for space and a determination to explore life beyond Earth. By 16, she earned her glider's license, and at 17, her private pilot airplane license. Aspiring to become an astronaut, Ishitha combines astrobiology and aeronautical engineering to inspire underrepresented youth.
As the founder of Sky Riders, she aims to make aviation accessible to young people nationwide. Her dedication is reflected in her roles with the Experimental Aircraft Association, Civil Air Patrol, and her national NASA competition win.
